Yvan’s Obituary
Yvan Joseph Parker passed away at the UofA Hospital on July 23, 2022. He was 75 years of age.
Yvan was born to Romuald and & Yvette Parker in Villebois (Quebec) on February 3, 1947. He moved to Alberta in 1948.
He was a hard-working business, making his living as a painter for 47 years. He could light up a room with a warm outgoing personality and a French “Allô!!”. Yvan had many talents and interests. He was a wonderful cook, a fabulous gardener, and avid outdoorsman, a successful hunter, fisherman and trapper. Most of all, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Yvan is pre-deceased by his brothers Jean-Paul (1953), Jean-Guy (1998); father Romuald (2010); mother Yvette (2002). He is survived by his wife Carole Rodrigue-Parker of Peace River; daughter Lisa (Larry) Konopski of Lethbridge (AB); son Jason (Brandi) Parker of St. Isidore (AB); grandsons Graham Konopski, Grant Konopski, Blake Parker; granddaughter Hayley (Cameron Woodridge); brothers Dennis (Pierrette) of McLennan (AB), Jean-Pierre (Sylvie) of Grande Prairie (AB), Rejean of Leduc (AB), Bernard of Falher (AB); sisters Mirelle (Guy) Paradis of Kelowna (BC), Claudette Arnold of Leslieville (AB); sister-in-law Judy of Grande Prairie (AB); many nieces and nephews and friends.
Interment will occur at Mountain View Cemetery in Lethbridge (AB).
