It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of Bill on October 10, 2022 at 75 years of age. Reunited with his beloved wife Denise (2022). Loving father of Billy and Aimee Fransen (Bob). Dearest brother of Judy Spearin (the late George), Mary Beth Oke (Doug), Janice Hall (Jim) and the late Jed. Dearest brother in-law of Cheryl Bobesich, Michelle Wachter (Jerry). Adored long-time friends of MaryAnn and Dave Bugler. Predeceased by his parents Ivan and Jeanette Newbold and in-laws Harvie and Leona Teno. Bill is survived by his nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bill retired as a printer from the Windsor Star after 40 years of service. In his retirement, Bill loved spending every moment with his beloved Denise. When the weather was nice, he loved spending time at the beach and travelling the open waters with Denise and family.
