Wilhelm Bill Sitser November 17 2022

Sitser, Wilhelm “Bill”– Age 80, died on Saturday, November 12, 2022 in QE11 Infirmary Site, Halifax, surrounded by family.
Born in Zutphen, the Netherlands, he immigrated to Canada in 1959 with his twin brother, John. He went back to Holland and came back to Canada in 1964. After living in Ontario and British Columbia, he finally came back to Nova Scotia in 2015.
Surviving are his daughter, Verna (Michel) Valliere and grandchildren, Jennifer-Rose and Jason, North Bay, Ontario; brother, Henk (Margreet); sister, Alice (Henk) Snoeijer, both of the Netherlands; sister-in-law, Erma, Truro; nieces and nephews and their families, both in Europe and Canada. He is also survived by special dear friends, Jim and Betty Barnhill.
He was predeceased by his brother, John; sister, Gerda and brother-in-law, Henk Velthuis.
A time of remembering Bill over coffee/tea and refreshments will be held on Saturday, November 26, from 2-4 p.m. in Belmont Baptist Church, 1113 Belmont Road, Belmont. Come and share a story about Bill.
Interment in Middle Road Cemetery will have already taken place.
Thank you to the medical staff of Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro and ICU on 5.2 in the QE11, Halifax.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
