It is with deep sadness and much love that the family of Wilbert Whitford of Lac La Biche, Alberta announces his passing on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at the age of 78 years.
Wilbert will be forever remembered by the mother of his children: Virginia Hagman; daughter: Rita (Jamie) Hillier; son: Lance (Janet) Jones, sisters: Rita (Dale) Anderson, Lucille (Nick) Burdek; brothers: Orville (Emily) Anderson, Leonard (Kendra) Anderson, Eldon Anderson.
Grandchildren: Cody Whitford, Josh (Brittany) Hillier, Jacob (Cassidy) Hillier, Jasey Jones, Tanner Jones, Santana Jones, Debbie Jones, Tom Williams, Dallas Jones; great grandchildren: Emmett Hillier, Gunner Hillier, Hannah Fehr, Ryker Fehr; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Wilbert was predeceased by his mother: Myrtle Anderson; sons: James “Jimmy” Whitford, William “Billy” Whitford; brother: Clarence Anderson; grandmother: Bella Cromerty; step dad; Neil F. Anderson.
Pallbearers: Christopher Anderson, Sean Anderson, Peter Burdek, Brandon Arnett, Darcy Tocher, Landon Thomson.
Memorial service, Monday, August 29, 2022 at 11:00 am, Mission View Funeral Chapel, Lac La Biche AB.
