Terry Lavigne, aged 49, of New York City, and formerly of Enfield NS, passed away suddenly on November 3rd, 2022, in the Columbian Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY.
Born in Bathurst NB, he was the oldest son of Leonard and Carmeline (Lavigne) Lavigne.
Terry worked in the aviation industry for 22 years. He was employed by various airlines, including Air Nova, Jazz Aviation LP, and Air Canada. He was a dedicated employee who took great pride in his work.
Besides his parents he is survived by his wife Lobna of New York, NY; son Zander of Hardwood Lands, NS; siblings Keith (Melissa), Kevin, and Tammy (Pierre), all of Bathurst NB.
He is also survived by his nephew Taylor; niece Alyssa; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Terry was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Leonard and Alma (Chiasson) Lavigne; maternal grandparents Frederick and Agnes (Juliano) Lavigne, uncles John Lavigne and Bernal Lavigne and an aunt Marina (Anna) Lavigne.
Cremation has taken place. A family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations can be made to the Nova Scotia SPCA.
