Suzanne Joly (née Robinait) (1960-2022)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Suzanne Joly on August 29th, 2022, at the age of 62, with her family by her side after a battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents Lucien and Thérèse Robinait (née Brosseau). Devoted mom to Tammy Kenney and Melanie Summers (Adam). Proud grandmother to Alexandre and Isac Summers. Dear sister to Diane Rioux (Marc) and Richard Robinait (Julie). Loving aunt to her nieces Alexie Sylvestre (Eric), Amy and Tina Robinait. Sue will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She had a big heart and was a caring and compassionate person. Sue was born and raised in Sudbury but moved to Ottawa in 2012 to be closer to her daughters. She loved spending time with her family, playing with her grandsons and camping. Her family would like to thank the staff at Élisabeth Bruyère Hospital for taking great care of her. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In memory of Sue, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
