Shirley Olive Noseworthy of Moncton, NB passed
away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, November 24, 2022 at the age
of 72. Born in Peterview, NL she was a daughter of the late Garfield
and Mary (Burt) Blake.
Shirley enjoyed watching her favorite tv shows while playing
games on her computer, a cup of tea was always in hand and never
missed a Blue Jay’s game.
Shirley had interests in crafts
and loved to scrapbook.
Survived by her husband and best friend
of 44 years, Rodney Noseworthy; daughters, Teri Noseworthy of Moncton,
Stephanie Noseworthy of Dieppe; son, Joe Harrison of Dieppe; sisters,
Margie Burt (Martin), Daisy Stacy (Brian) both of NL; brothers, Archie
Blake (Myrtis), Willis Blake (Yvonne), Lewis Blake (Kay), Wilfred
Blake (Helen), Calvin Blake (Gail), Leonard Blake (Florence), Larry
Blake (Brenda) Brian Blake (Sylvie), Terry Blake (Sharon) all of NL;
grandchildren, Stephen Noseworthy, Alison Doiron, Dustin Burke and
Emma Noseworthy-King; also survived by several in-laws, cousins,
nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her
parents, she was predeceased by sisters,
Mabel Chaytor (Nelson), Amy Guy (Eddie); a
brother, Mervin Blake.
The family would like to thank the firefighters, as well as
the paramedics Chris and Rene. The family appreciates all the effort
from the doctors and nursing staff at the Moncton
Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at a later
date.
Donations in Shirley’s memory may be made to the Heart
& Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the
family.
