Shirley Evelyn Wallin nee Richards February 6th 2022

October 3, 1934 – February 6, 2022
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother Shirley. Mom was born in Kamloops, BC and grew up in the Okanagan Valley where she has many friends and family remaining.
She married Virgil Wallin in 1956 and started their family of 4 in 1958. She was a stay-at-home mom until her children were mostly finished high school which was when she got a job as a receptionist at a veterinary clinic in Kamloops. From there she moved onto a job at Agriculture Canada which eventually moved to Armstrong, BC where she remained until her retirement. She and Virgil created a lovely home and life there.
Mom and dad loved camping and fishing with their family and later on with a close group of friends. They both loved the outdoors.
Mom was predeceased by both parents, her husband Virgil, and brothers Barry and Alan. She is survived by her loving children Wayne, Lynn (Steven), Donna and Wendy plus eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Her kind and loving soul will be greatly missed by many.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Shirley Evelyn Wallin nee Richards February 6th 2022..
