1951-2022
Following a brief illness, Sharon Ann Davenport passed away peacefully
at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on October 5, 2022.
Sharon was born in Perth-Andover, NB, on March 1, 1951. She was the
daughter of Ruth Grant (Wolverton) and the late Preston Grant. Besides
her mother, who is a resident at Victoria Glen Manor, Sharon leaves
behind her loving husband of 50 years, Robert “Bob”; she was
the loving mother of Rob (Kari), Timmy, and Sarah (Daniel); Nannie to
Trystan, River, Jackson, Angus, Dakota, Cruz, Jazmyn, Madeline, Lily
and Issac; she was a sister to Sally, Eric, and her very special
sister Bonnie who she loved dearly. She also leaves behind her beloved
sister-in-law Penny (Preston), nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sharon was predeceased by her father, Preston, and her in-laws, Roy
and Jean.
For the last 15 years, Sharon spent her days at Tobique Tobacco
working for her adopted son Neil, serving her loving friends of
Tobique First Nation.
Sharon loved everyone she met regardless of their past, without
judgment and open arms. She loved her family with her whole soul and
talked about how proud she was anytime she got the chance.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with a gathering being held on
Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 12-2 pm. A celebration of Sharon’s
life will be held following the gathering at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society
would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover, NB.
