Passed away after a hard battle with brain cancer on Monday, November 14, 2022 at the age of 34.
Beloved wife of Jeff Cull for 10 years.
Loving mother to Crawford and Calvin.
Cherished daughter of Nigel and Glorie Black.
Dear sister of Emily (Les) Barna, Caitlin (Dustin) Connell and Hannah (Eric) Rideout.
Treasured aunt of Aiben, Iris and Cindel.
Forever remembered by her grandparents, June and Nelson McGraw and Winnie Black. Predeceased by her papa Sam Black.
Will be greatly missed by her father and mother-in-law, Valance and Betty Cull, sister-in-law Sarah Cull (Chris) and niece and nephew Cruz and Chloe.
Growing up in Paris, Ontario, from a young age, Sam had a love for children and helping others. This inspired her to attend Wilfred Laurier University for a Bachelor of Arts Contemporary Studies with a Child Development Option and Nipissing University for her Bachelor of Education. Sam was a young and enthusiastic teacher, who had the honour of teaching at Rockway Public School, Kitchener and John Mahood Public School, Elmira.
Sam’s family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 18th, 2022 and Saturday, November 19th, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, 2022, with a Celebration of Life in the chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to follow.
