STOCK: Ruth Irene (nee Graham)
Passed away peacefully at Canterbury Gardens Retirement Residence, Peterborough on Tuesday September 27, 2022 in her 90th year. Ruth enjoyed time spent at the family cottage and over the years was able to travel extensively throughout the world. Her greatest love however, was her family, particularly her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who made her proud every day. She is predeceased by her loving husband Gerald Stock (d. 2001)and her parents George and Leona Graham. Dear mother of Dan Stock (Joanne) of Newmarket, Brian Stock (Judy) of Aurora and Susan Stock of Barrie. Loving nana of Graydon Stock (Karin), Jarryd Stock (Samantha), Darryl Stock (Natalia), Adam Stock (Shannon), Joel Stock (Sarah), Ian Stock (Lauren), Amanda Strath, David Strath (Jessica) and Chantelle Stock. Loving great nana to 15 great grandchildren. Ruth was dearly loved by her sister Barb Bell (the late Lloyd) , brother John Graham (Suzanne) and brother-in-law Jeff Stock. Missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and especially by her long-time childhood friend Ann Usher. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Canterbury Gardens staff who provided compassionate care and kindness both to Ruth and her family. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will be held at Lakefield Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to a Celebration of Ruth’s Life on Friday October 7, 2022 at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #77, 10 Nichols Street, Lakefield from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. Memories will be shared at 2:30 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the P.R.H.C.
