Robert “Bob” Harris Rodden
October 15th, 1956 – October 8th, 2022
With sad hearts, but with lots of great memories, we announce the unexpected passing of Robert (Bob) Harris Rodden. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his wife Zona (Horwood) and two sons Benjamin (Chelsey) and Jacob. Bob will be forever cherished by his brother Harry, from whom we have all learned important lessons about toughness, persistence and empathy. He was predeceased by his dad, William, mother Violet, brother William and sister Dawn. As well as his father-in-law, Duke Horwood. He is survived by a wide circle of family including nieces and nephews, friends and colleagues. We are all devastated by his sudden passing but as we reflect on the past, we should remember he always enjoyed life, especially having a good laugh. Cremation has taken place. Visitation is Wednesday, October 12th 2022, 4-7 PM at Barrett’s Funeral Home on Hamilton Avenue. A service of remembrance will be held Thursday, October 13th 2022, 2 PM at Barrett’s Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Vera Perlin Society, or a charity of one’s choice. “No love, no friendship ever passes this way without leaving some mark on us forever.”
