Crooks, Richard Charles
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Rick Crooks of Oro Medonte is saddened to say that Rick has passed away on October 11th 2022 after a brief illness of pancreatic cancer at the age of 64. Dear brother of Dave, Paul (Cyndee), Mark, Carol (Ted), Danny (Patty), Tim, Cathy (Andy), Colleen (Jack), and special friend Ben. Rick is predeceased by his parents Norman and Audrey and by his brothers Isaac and Norman Jr. Fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Rick retired after 37 years from the Huronia Regional Centre-Orillia. Rick enjoyed his retirement spending time with his family. Rick was also well known for his security work and doing odd jobs in the Orillia and Barrie areas. Rick also enjoyed the Perch Festival yearly or whatever fishing tournaments he could get to. I will always remember him saying “FISH ON” with the biggest smile on his face. Rick is also missed by his loving friend and soulmate Ann. Rick is a special “DAD” to Samantha and Grand-Pa to Peyton and Darcy. Followed by cremation. A private family gathering has taken place. “Forever Loved and Always in our Hearts”
