R Bernice Henley December 17 2022

Henley, R. Bernice –Age 78, of Hilden and formerly of Upper Musquodoboit passed away December 17, 2022 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
Born in Sheet Harbour Passage, she was a daughter of the late Fred Harnish and Annie Dahr.
Bernice enjoyed helping others and nobody left her home empty-handed. She always kept in contact with her friends with daily phone conversations. In her younger days she made many quilts and enjoyed sewing. She and Leroy spent several years camping and going to bluegrass concerts.
Surviving are sisters, Sharon (Max) Isenor, Lantz; Betty Fisher, Onslow; Elsie Barkhouse, Sheet Harbour; brothers, Gerald, Hilden; Ronald (Elva), Sheet Harbour Passage; sister-in-law, Elsie Harnish, Sheet Harbour; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leroy; sister, Eileen Boutilier; brothers, Lawrence, Clarence and Carl; brothers-in-law, James Barkhouse, Duncan Boutilier, Ronald Boutilier, Byron Fisher; sisters-in-law, Donna Dahr, Yvonne Dahr and Patsy Dahr.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Sharon Presbyterian Church, Dean with Rev. David LeBlanc officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Upper Musquodoboit.
Memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or Kidney Foundation of Canada.
