Obituary of Perry Smith
SMITH, Perry James after a good fight, peacefully at University Hospital, London on Monday, May 2, 2022. Perry Smith of Cargill and formerly of Tobermory in his 63rd year. Beloved husband of Kim Elliott. Cherished father of Curtis and his wife Marcedes and Cameron Smith and grandfather of William, Zander, Easton, Emerson, Olivia and Avery. Dear brother of Mary Ellen Schell and her partner Mark and brother-in-law of Jim Elliott and his wife Kathy, Sue Jagt and her husband Pete and Dee Risk and her husband Dennis and son-in-law of Norma Elliott. Missed by nieces and nephews Christina, Jordan, Charles and Bobbijo and great nephew Chase. Predeceased by his parents Betty Lou (nee Martin) and Terry Smith and father-in-law Gord Elliott.
The funeral service will be conducted from the Light and Life Chapel, Tobermory on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. The family requests that masks be worn.
Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION’S HEAD CHAPEL, Lion’s Head. Expressions of remembrance to the London Health Sciences Foundation c/o Multi-Organ Transplant Program, University Hospital would be appreciated.
