Obituary
FERRY, Pauline (née O’Donnell)
Our beautiful Irish rose left us far too soon. On Sunday, August 28th, peacefully surrounded by her loving family, after a second valiant battle with breast cancer. Pauline was the loving wife of Peter for almost 30 years. Devoted mother to Ryan, Colin, Liam and Cailin. Loving daughter of Nancy and the late Thomas O’Donnell. Cherished sister of Patrick (Margaret), Marie-Therese, Katrina (Kieran), Bronagh, Conor (Bronach) and Thomas (Karen). Predeceased by her sister Nuala. Dear sister-in-law to Patricia (Don) Robertson, Paula (Jim) Wineck, Chris (Karen) Ferry, Jackie (David) Flynn, Madeleine (Roy) Marriott. A wonderfully kind and caring aunt who will be sorely missed by her many Irish and Canadian nieces and nephews. Born in Belfast, Ireland, May 12, 1962, Pauline emigrated to Canada as a teenager, securing a job as a nanny in Midland,
Ontario. She later worked at Mick B’s, where she eventually met her husband. Pauline’s family became her focus, and her children were her pride and joy. She loved to care and provide for family and friends; her kindness and generosity were an inspiration to all who knew her.
Cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life on Thursday, September 1st from 6-9pm at the Whitby Yacht Club, 701 Gordon Street, Whitby ON. Visitation to take place during the first hour (6-7). In lieu of flowers, we have set up a GoFundMe account to help the family navigate a world without Pauline in it.
