Mavis Genette Keith-Gerber
February 23, 1939 – September 22, 2022
Mavis Genette Keith-Gerber formerly of Drumheller passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on September 22, 2022 at the age of 83 years.
Mavis was born February 23, 1939 in Edmonton, Alberta to John and Elizabeth Keith.
Mavis enjoyed a lengthy career as a teacher with the majority spent in the Drumheller area. Upon retirement Mavis shifted her focus to volunteerism in her community, genealogy, travel, decorative painting, woodwork and quality time with her family. Mavis will be missed by her loving family.
Mavis was predeceased by her parents John and Elizabeth, sister Elaine, brothers Ralph, Angus and her loving husband Ernest Gerber.
She leaves to mourn three sons Ian (Connie), Danny (Bertha) and Darren, grandchildren Kayanna, Kaleb, Janelle and Brianne, one sister Lauretta, and one brother Dawne (Jean).
Funeral Mass for Mavis will be held Friday, October 7, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, interment to follow in the Drumheller Cemetery. If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to Grace House of Drumheller, Box 1785, Drumheller, Alberta, T0J 0Y0. Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangements.
