Maurice’s Obituary
It is with heartfelt sadness the family of Maurice Ford announce his passing on Wednesday, September 21st,2022. Leaving to mourn with many fond memories are his spouse; Jessie Pittman. First wife; Faye Hynes. His children; Jillian Popplow (David) and Deneatra Ford Palmer (Steve). Granddaughter; Alexandria. Step Children; Vivian Healey (Paul), Marlene Pittman (Wilfred), Colin Pittman (Stacey), Janette Pittman (Leonard) and step daughter-in-law; Christine Curtis. Step grandchildren; Tyler, Teanna, Payton, Brandon, Blake, Brooklyn, Carly, Austin, Angelina, April and Adian. Great grandchildren (step); Maria, Hayes and Hensley. His siblings; Marjorie Adams, Roland Ford (Margaret) and Boyce Ford (Margaret). Also a special mention to A.J. Pittman a step nephew whom Maurice had a special bond with. Maurice also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Maurice was predeceased by his parents’; Pearce and Lucy Ford. Siblings; Jobe (Precilla) Ford, George (Nellie) Ford, Nora (Andrew) Parrill, Robert Ford, Stewart Ford, Rita Ford and Dulcie Ford. Brother-in-law; James Adams and step son; Gary Pittman.
In keeping with Maurice’s wishes cremation will take place and a funeral service will take place on Thursday, September 29th,2022 at 2pm at The Anglican Church in Jacksons Arm with Rev. Charlene Laing officiating. Inurnment will follow at the family plot in Jacksons Arm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Maurice.
