Mary Lou passed away peacefully surrounded with love, after a brief illness.
Predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob) Griffin (1967), with whom she had (Cynthia and Susan) and her husband of 45 years, Peter Flanagan (2018). She is mourned by Cynthia (Pierre), grandchildren Chris Bradburn (Mollie) and Carolyn Buytels (Stuart), great grandchildren Cruz and Remi, granddaughter Mary Benjamin and stepchildren Patti, Neil and Maureen.
Mary Lou enjoyed nursing before taking over Bob’s woodworking and decorating business (R.N. Griffin Ltd) in 1967. Mary Lou was an avid gardener, tennis player, diver and skier and will be fondly remembered as the den Mother of the Red Birds Ski Club, Mont-Tremblant. Her wit and candid humor will be cherished by a wide circle of friends.
A special thanks to Dr. Piché, Maude, Michelle, Leonila and Katie for their help with palliative care.
