Outre sa conjointe, il laisse dans le deuil sa fille Dorothée, ses parents Claude Asselin et Nathalie Marinier, ses frères Frédérick, Gabriel, Carl, François et sa sœur Sabrina, ses beaux-parents Carole Ayotte (Gilles) et Richard Royer (Liette), ainsi que plusieurs autres parents et amis.
