On Friday, August 26th our beautiful daughter Macy Margaret Goulding was born into a world that just wasn’t ready for her yet. She was the perfect combination of both her mother and father and was loved fiercely before she arrived, while she was here, and will be for the rest of our days.
Although Macy’s time with us was unbearably brief, she has made an enormous impact on not only her parents and family, but a large circle of friends as well.
Macy is predeceased by both her grandfathers; William Vokey and Lloyd Goulding, who are taking great care of her for us until we are able to see her again.
Leaving to mourn are her parents Stephanie and Chris Goulding; grandparents Margaret Granville (Bill Granville), and Yvonne Making-Goulding; Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Jordan; Great grandmothers Nancy Noseworthy, Effie Vokey; Great grandfather Jim Making and a large circle of family and friends.
We want to say thank you to those who have shown us a never-ending amount of support and encouragement throughout this impossible time in our lives.
We would also like to thank the nurses and doctors in the case room, Janeway, and NICU who went above and beyond to care for our sweet girl.
We have a very difficult journey ahead of us that will last us a lifetime – but we know Macy will guide us through every hardship we face, and she will be our strength that keeps us pushing forward when it feels like we will never be able to get ahead again.
The family will receive visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Tuesday, September 6th, from 1PM-2PM with a service to follow at The Carnell Memorial Chapel at 2PM.
If you are unable to attend, but wish to show support, we are asking people to please donate to the Janeway NICU Department.
