My heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Lorne Zweig, and to those who had the pleasure of knowing and working with him throughout his career in television.
I count myself as one of the fortunate to have worked with him on many occasions.
D. Glen McLaughlin
Lorne was a profound creative individual whom I had the pleasure to work with.
Lorne consistently met the client’s expectations and delivered more than expected.
His favorite goodnight graphic is a Bugs Bunny character that made me smile when he put up at the end of our transmissions.
We’ll miss you, Lorne.
My sincere condolence to you and your family
I am a huge fan of Lorne. For decades we would chat outside the mobile units, in the rain, snow and sunshine at the arena in BUF. We agreed on what was right and what was wrong. For his family- I know you lost someone special- we all did. Please know he was loved in BUF. For every trip he made here was gift. I am so very sorry.
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Lorne, we worked together for many years on away feed telecasts of NHL games in Buffalo. I always loved our conversations and I will miss him dearly. He was a true pro. Always ready and super prepared. RIP Lorne.
Lorne was one of the finest people I ever met. We spent many an evening on the road after work, visiting, kibbitzing, supporting each other when necessary. He was always there to help and always made me think, or laugh, or both. His heart was bigger than any mobile. Lorne, if you’re reading this, you know you don’t need to: you know you be missed not only by me, but by everyone you ever touched. RIP, Lorne. All the best, old friend.
