Obituary of Lloyd Garth Clowater
We are sad to announce the passing of Lloyd Garth Clowater of New Bandon, NB. Lloyd was born on March 26, 1943 and died Monday, October 10, 2022.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Gail (Ward); three sons, Beverly, Brian (Crystal) and Bradley (Cathy), grandson Alex, grand daughters Robyn (Steve), Brandi (Graham), Leslie and Jordan and sisters in law Betty Clowater, Eva Comeau, and Debbie Ward.
Besides is parents, Lawrence and Verna Clowater, Lloyd was predeceased by an infant son, Barry; four brothers, Hudson (Doris), Earl (Millie), Lawrence Junior, and Cyril (Georgina) and also two sisters, Jackie McCormick (Bill) and Zelda O’Donnell (Eric).
In his earlier years Lloyd worked as a truck driver and then operated heavy equipment until his retirement. He always enjoyed family get togethers and having friends in to visit. He loved children especially his grandchildren and loved to tease them.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the Miramichi Valley Chapel, 7861 Route 8, New Bandon, from 1-2:30 pm, followed by a service at 3pm. Interment will be in St. Andrew’s Anglican Cemetery (Russell Hill). A reception will follow at the McNamee Rec Centre. Everyone Welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Anglican Parish of Ludlow and Blissfield, or the Alzheimer Society. At this time, I would like to thank the York Care Centre for the excellent care Lloyd received during the last four years – Especially Jason and Trevor for their phone calls and kindness and help during Lloyd’s last few hours.
