SEITZ, Libia “Libby” Marie (nee Pereira) (June 13, 1962 – August 7, 2022) –
It is with sadness, that we announce the sudden passing of our much-loved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, Libia “Libby” Marie (nee Pereira) Seitz, a resident of Tillsonburg and formerly of Courtland, on Sunday, August 7th, 2022, at the age of 60. Libby was born in Galt, Ontario, to her much loved parents Eduardo Pereira and Inez (nee Frias) Pereira, both of Cambridge, ON. Always a loving mother to her daughter Jenna (nee McDowell) Scholten, of Ingersoll and proud grandmother to Lyla and Emmett; loving mother to her son Matthew (wife Taryn) McDowell, of Courtland and their children Liam and Michael. Caring sister to Joe (wife Nancy) Pereira, of Cambridge, ON.
All of Libby’s relatives, friends, and neighbours are invited to attend a period of public visitation on Wednesday, August 10th, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes- Burial and Cremation Services Inc. Chapel, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg. A private funeral service to honour Libby’s life will be held on Thursday, August 11th, 2022, officiated by Pastor Paul Robinson. Private family burial will follow in the Tillsonburg Cemetery.
