Obituary
Passed away peacefully at home on October 11, 2022 in his 58th year, with family by his side. Bret is survived and forever loved by his wife of 30 years, Leona (nee Mark). Cherished by his mother Brenda (nee Wiltshire) and predeceased by his father Lester Bulgin. Lovingly remembered by his devoted children Cory (Tiffany) and Nicole (Brett). Forever missed by his two cherished grandchildren Lily and Evan. Mourned by his siblings Shari (Shawn), Deborah and Jay (Lindsay). Closely remembered by his mother in law Bernadette Mark.
Bret will be remembered for his great sense of humor and love for his family. Bret thoroughly enjoyed camping and boating, especially when he could spend it with his family. Lily will always cherish her memories of her and her grandfather’s boat rides together, where she would ride in his lap while sharing many laughs. Bret’s humor will live on in his grandson Evan and Evan will sincerely miss his grandpa’s daily jokes that would be sent to him while he was on break. We find peace in knowing that he is now at rest with his beloved dog Cocoa.
There will be a Funeral Service held at Highland Park Funeral Centre on Saturday October 15, 2022 at 10AM followed by a burial at Highland Park Cemetery, with a time of refreshments and remembrance to conclude.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in memory of Bret.
