Wilcox, Larry John
A resident of Chatham, Larry Wilcox passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 20th, 2022 at Windsor Regional Hospital at the age of 79.
Born in Chatham, Larry was the son of the late Walter and Edith (nee Ridgers) Wilcox.
Beloved husband of 60 years to Marg (nee Jones) Wilcox.
Loving father of Cheryl (Fitz), Chrissy and Dawn Ann (Nelson).
Grandpa to Ashlee, Amanda (Richard), Paige (Maurice), Stephanie. Great-Grandpa to Zeke, Xavier, Liam, Averie, Oliver, Andrew and Richard Jr.
Survived by brother Jim Wilcox (Janet) and sisters Shirley Fenton (Jack), Lois Moore (Bob) and Janet Boivin (Ron).
Larry will be missed by lots of nieces, nephews and extended family.
Predeceased by father-in-law Jim Jones, mother-in-law Helen and her late husband Chuck Carson.
Larry worked at Canadian Fram Siemens for 42 years. He loved his family, friends and golf.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 6:00 – 8:00pm. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, April 28, 2022.
