Kenzie Jayne Ouellette passed away with her mom, Erin and her dad, Shayne by her side on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at the age of 10 years. She fought a three-year battle with cancer that ultimately took her too soon. Her contagious smile, kindness, sense of humour and zest for life will resonate with anyone who was lucky enough to meet her. She left a lasting mark on all who heard her story. She taught us to live every day with hope, kindness, courage, and love. But mostly, she taught us to not waste time, and live every day to the fullest. From birth, Kenzie was a petite, beautiful, little girl. She loved being creative, playing with animals, swimming, and making others laugh with her sense of humour. She loved crafts, music, and friends. Hawaii held a special place in her heart. Her wish was to go to Hawaii, and the family took a family trip to fulfill her dreams. She loved everything about it from the beach to the flowers, turtles and especially the rainbows. Kenzie celebrated her 10th birthday on July 20 with her best friends and her baby cousin, Reese. We will always remember Kenzie as quiet but feisty, shy but funny, small yet strong, stubborn but gentle, and our little animal whisperer. Despite all the challenges that Kenzie faced, she was an amazing and patient big sister. She will forever be remembered by her parents, Shayne and Erin, her brothers, Parker and Vander, her grandparents, Brian and Bev Meding, and Luke Ouellette and Jan Tremblay, her aunts and uncles, Blake Meding and Katie Meehan, Scott and Jaime Meding, Ryan and Lisa Ouellette, and numerous special family, cousins and friends. Kenzie was predeceased by her grandma, Jayne Ouellette.
