Kai Arthur Terfry
Terfry, Kai Arthur -Millbrook. “Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart” A.A.Milne. We are sad to announce that our son, Kai Arthur Terfry was taken way too soon by the angels on August 18, 2022. Kai passed at his home in Millbrook in the loving arms of his mother. Kai was born on June 25, 2022, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
He will be dearly missed by his parents, Presley Knockwood and Thomas Terfry; brother, Jayce Terfry, all of Millbrook. He is also survived by his Nanny, Darlene Arseneau, Millbrook; Nanny, Sarah Terfry, Truro; Grampy, Glen Terfry, Truro; great grandfather, Frank Arseneau, Hilden; great grandmother, Matilda “Tillie” Armstrong, Truro; great grandmother, Joanne Sylliboy (Frank), Truro; aunts, Alicia Terfry, Truro, Tiffany Kennedy (Steve), Millbrook, Naomi Michael, (Alex), Sipekne’katik, Alona Kennedy, Millbrook; uncles, Josh Romer (Tara), Roberts Creek, BC, Jeffery Arseneau, Bedford, Daniel Francis, Hilden, Shane Kennedy (Leana), Millbrook; special cousin, Osea GooGoo; grammy, Tracey Knockwood, Sipekne’katik; great grandmother, Harriett Knockwood, Sipekne’katik; great grandmother, Hazel Kennedy, Truro. He is also survived by numerous great aunts, great uncles and cousins; Godparents, Ryan MacQueen and Ashley Elliott.
Kai was predeceased by his grandfather, Arthur Kennedy; great grandmother, Joyce Arseneau; great grandfather, David Armstrong; great grandfather, Arthur Terfry and great grandmother, Carole Terfry.
Kai gave us a lifetime of love in his short seven weeks with us. He was loved by everyone that had the pleasure of meeting him. Kai was just beginning to notice the world around him with his big dark blue eyes. His mom and dad will miss Aunt Alona saying, “Presley, bring the baby down so we can hold him,” every morning and cousin Osea insisting she go to Kai’s room to see him and wrap her arms around him if just for a quick kiss. Mom and Dad know his grandfather and grandmothers in heaven will be watching over him until we can all be together someday.
Kai’s parents would like to thank the Colchester East Hants Health Centre and the IWK Children’s Hospital for the care and support during his short stay.

Kai will be resting at his home, 62 Gerald Avenue, Millbrook First Nation from Monday, August 22nd at 5:00pm to the time of service on Wednesday, August 24th at 2:00pm, in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro, NS. Cremation will take place after the service and burial will be held in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Millbrook First Nation at a later date.
