Joseph Christopher Ryan Saturday September 3rd 2022

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Joseph Christopher Ryan on Saturday, September 3, 2022.
Born in Tipperary, Ireland on January 4, 1940 to Daniel and Nora (nee Bradshaw) Ryan, he was a brother to a large and loving family of 3 sisters and 9 other brothers. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years, Marian (nee Fawcett); his children (who know that nothing couldn’t be fixed by him and a good roll of duct tape!): Lisa (Andrew), Gennifer (Christopher), and Kevin (Colleen); his much-loved grandchildren Alexandria, Simon, David, Liam, Declan and Imogen; and dearly remembered by his large extended family in Ireland and overseas. He will also be fondly remembered by his friends and fellow worshippers at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, and all he befriended during his many years of volunteering within the community. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Kipling Acres Seniors Home for their care and compassion in his final year.
Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue (North of Rexdale Boulevard) on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 5-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 2194 Kipling Avenue at 11:00am on Thursday, September 15, 2022. Cremation to follow at Riverside Crematorium, 1567 Royal York Road.
