Jonas Ephraim Douglas George Hatt
1983-2022
It is with great sadness the family of Jonas
Ephraim Douglas George Hatt, of New Minas, announces his unexpected
death on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at the age of 39. Jonas was the
younger of the two sons of the late Marlon Shawn Hatt and the late
Diana Lynn (Muise) Hewey.
Jonas is survived by his son, Landon Isaiah
Shawn Hatt; brother and last surviving member of their immediate
family, Isaiah (Amanda) Hatt Gould; nephew, Brayden; girlfriend,
Amanda Townson; 18 aunts and uncles and their spouses; many cousins,
extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was
predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Joan (Peck) (Hatt)
MacEachern and Douglas Hatt; and maternal grandparents, Barbara
(Enslow) and John Muise.
There will be no visitation, by request. The
funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19,
2022 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. For those unable to
attend, a video webcast will be available on-line at the time of the
service. Interment will take place in Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill.
Donations in memory may be made to Open Arms or Chrysalis House.
