Obituary for
John Henry Lange
The family announces with sorrow the passing of John Henry Lange of Mayerthorpe, AB, at the age of 87 years.
The following will cherish his memory; children, Dorothy (Ed Sommer) Lange of Whitecourt, AB, Lorna (Ron) Lenk of Greencourt, AB, Joan (Marc Grenier) Lange of Calgary, AB, and John Lange Jr. of Mayerthorpe, AB; grandchildren, Misty, Shawn (Lorrina) Jessie (Kelly), Kristen (Grant), Terri (Matt), Wyatt, Monica, Cody (Willa) and Kellie (Brandon); great-grandchildren, Liam, Brooke (Chase), Conner, Niko, Aspen, Eli, Aiden, Rylee, Sadie, William, Braxton, Madilyn, Pyretta, Seamus, Rourke, Felix, Hans and Greda; sisters, Frieda, Joyce (John), Viola (Jake) and Norma (Frank); and many more family and friends. Predeceased by his beautiful wife of 60 years, Mary; parents, Johann and Aganetha; brothers, Wilhelm and Ronald; brother-in-law, Vernon; and sister, Mary (Jim).
Thank you to the doctors and staff of Mayerthorpe Auxiliary Hospital, for the wonderful care and compassion shown to John and the family.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, November 30, at 1:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 126, 5111 45 Avenue, Mayerthorpe, with Reverend Ruth Lotholz officiating.
In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Mayerthorpe Hospital Auxiliary Association, Box 582, Mayerthorpe, AB T0E 1N0.
