John “Cactus” Ward
December 10, 1932- August 30, 2022
Outfitter, Cowboy, Storyteller
An outfitter and guide in Jasper National Park and the Willmore Wilderness for over 50 years, John shared his love of the mountains with many who have remained life-long friends.
Out of the saddle, John enjoyed volunteering for Jasper Minor Hockey and playing with the Dead Dogs.
John is survived by his sons, Tom (Lynn) and Gerald (Cori); grandchildren, Lindsay, Robert, Nolan, Anna, and Laura; and great-grandchildren, Isabella and Louis.
At John’s request, no service will be held.
