Obituary
John Andrew Miller Nixon (Andrew) passed away suddenly on March 24th, 2022 at the North Bay Regional Health Center in his 60th year. He is the beloved brother of Heather (Raymond) Goyea of Powassan.
John known as Andrew to most, was educated at George Brown College in Toronto as a Chef and he spent his working years in Toronto, Huntsville and Caicos and Turk Islands. He loved to cook. In later years he spent his time volunteering at the Good Happenings Food Bank in South River, where he was able to secure a grant to assist the Food Bank in finding a new facility to rent.
Andrew will be missed by his neighbours and friends at the Roselawn apartments where he has lived for many years.
He is predeceased by his parents John and Mary Nixon and his loved four legged companion Midge.
A Memorial service will be held at Higher Heights Christian Fellowship Church on Saturday, April 2nd, 2022 at 11 a.m.
If so desired, memorial donations to the Good Happenings Food Bank or Higher Heights Christian Fellowship Church would be acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
