Jin’s Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Stedman Community Hospice in Brantford, surrounded by family and friends, on October 28, 2022. Jin Won was 70 years of age. Loving wife to Sung Yoon Han. Cherished mother of Christina (Chun) and Howard (Yesle). Grandmother to Sophie, Jasper, Rohi, and Rafa. She will be dearly missed by many family members and friends.
Jin Won will be remembered as being a very helpful and generous person. She was guided by her faith and it impacted her everyday living in a positive way. Her faith helped her to value the little things that each day brought which helped her to live a life of peace and contentment. She found great joy in cooking and gardening.
Friends will be received at the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL Funeral Home, 1105 Rest Acres Road on Tuesday November 1, 2022 from 6 – 7 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 7 p.m. On Wednesday Nov. 2, 2022 the family will reconvene at Elgin Mills Cemetery in Toronto for a private Graveside Interment Service. In Jin Won’s memory, donations to the Stedman Community Hospice (www.sjlc.ca/stedman-community-hospice-1) or the Canadian Cancer Society (cancer.ca/en/) would be appreciated by the family.
