Obituary of Jeffery Benoit
With broken hearts, the family announces that Jeff passed away from a year long battle of cancer in hospital, Shawville, Quebec, with his family by his side on Monday, August 22, 2022 at the age of 52.
Beloved husband and best friend to Shelley (nee Normandeau). Wonderful and dedicated father to Morgan, Tori and Allie. Son of Ryan and late Gisele Benoit (nee Rodgers). Dearest brother to the late Michael, Vicki (Ben) and Lee (Jen).
He will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Jeff was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved the outdoors at any time of the year but fall was his absolute favorite. He took pride and pleasure in his work and loved life to the fullest. He will always be remembered for his amazing stories of his life’s adventures and the love he had for his family.
Jeff was an inspiration to many. He fought his battle with hope and a positive attitude, showed strength and determination to Never Give Up. Donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation, oncology department would be appreciated.
A Funeral Mass will take place in St. Anne’s Church, Calumet Island, Quebec. Time and date to be announced.
