Janna Ottens (Hilbrands)
of Moorefield peacefully went home to be with her Lord at the Royal Terrace Nursing Home, Palmerston on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late Jan “John” Ottens Sr. (1993). Loving mother of Hank and Gerty Ottens of Moorefield, Grace and Jan Slot of Elora, Teresa and Max Hilpert of Midland, John Jr. and Marlene Ottens of Moorefield
and the late Reynold Ottens (1977). Oma’s heart candies will be one of the things missed by her grandchildren Kim, Sheri and Neil, Kevin and Anissa, Kathy and Dave; Corinne and Mike, Steve and Liisa, Nick and Lindsey; Michael and Brittany, Jordan; Amanda and Shane, Leona and the late Matt (2021), Kirk and Emily, Marisa and Ezra. She will be dearly missed by her 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Drayton Reformed Church, Wellington Street on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
A private family interment will take place on Friday, October 7, 2022 followed by the
Funeral Service on Friday, October 7, 2022 in the Drayton Reformed Church at 11:00 a.m.
As expressions of sympathy donations to the Palmerston Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
