JAMES KENNETH WOTTEN (JIM)
1947-2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Jim on August 15th, 2022 at Vancouver General Hospital at the age of 75.
Jim was born in Toronto and one of his early accomplishments was breaking the Canadian juvenile high jump record while in high school. He is survived by his brother Robert (Diane), niece Meredith (Dave) and nephew Seth. Jim will be dearly missed by family and friends.
After moving to Vancouver Jim was the manager at Canada Permanent on Granville Street. Later he was a financial advisor with Investors Group. His last career move was to the Canada Revenue Agency where he spent many years until his retirement.
Jim enjoyed hiking, skiing (member of the Pacific Ski Club) dancing, dining out and socializing with friends. He had a passion for cruising, and he thoroughly enjoyed numerous worldwide cruising adventures.
There will be no funeral service and flowers and donations are respectfully declined.
