Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late James C. O’Toole announce his passing on November 25th, 2022 at his private residence in his 72nd year. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: Jimmy O’Toole (Crystal), Jeannie O’Toole (Jim); his six grandchildren: Jared, Lucas, Jakob, Kenna, Ryan, and Gavin; his love for the last 16 years, Sharon Harnum; Jim’s special friends: Rosalind Langdon; Sharon’s daughter: Sonya Cornect (Peter) and their children: Hayley, and Logan; as well as Sharon’s son: Michael Ball; his brothers and sisters: Mary Barron, Bob O’Toole (Frances), Charlie O’Toole, Helen Coady (Jim), and Lib Murphy (Ron); as well as his in-laws: Barb Pelley (Wayne), Marg Sheppard (Bob), Cavell Foley, Debbie Bridger (Perry), Sharon Feener (Arnold), and Judy Snow (Jim).
Jim is predeceased by the love of his life, Neta O’Toole (Hannon); his parents: Walter and Esther O’Toole; siblings: Annie Callahan, Joan Walsh, and Walter O’Toole; in-laws: Tom Hannon, Phyllis Mills, and Len Hannon.
There will be a visitation held at the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church in Pasadena, on Tuesday, November 29th, 2022 from the hours of 7-9 PM and Wednesday, November 30th, 2022 from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 1st, 2022 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Rosary Church with Bishop Bart Van Roijen officiating. Interment to follow at the Pasadena Roman Catholic Cemetery. No flowers by request, instead a donation can be made to the Cancer Care Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador in Jim’s memory (cancercarefoundation.ca/).
