Cocagne, NB – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raoul Cormier, 73, he passed away at Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton, on Wednesday, November 23, 2022.
Born in Cocagne, NB, he was the son of the late Emile Cormier and Florine Cormier (Allain).
Including his mother, Raoul will be sadly missed by his wife, Denise Cormier (Bourque); his children: Luc Cormier (Sylvie Léger) of Cocagne and Lisa Elliott (Paul) of Lutes Mountain; his siblings: Léo-Paul (Jeannita) of Cocagne, Corinne Gallant (Adrien), Annette Allain (late Claude) both of Moncton, Louis-Émile (Marie-Louise) of Cocagne, Alvin (Suzanne) of Ontario, Jean-Charles, Huberte Audoux (Jacky) both of Cocagne and Anise Cormier (Steven) of Moncton; his grandchildren: Alexandre Cormier, Simon Cormier and baby Cormier; his step-grandchildren: Jessica Elliott (Kyle Ouellette), Melissa Elliott, Joël Allain, Véronique Allain and Janie Allain; his step great grandchildren: Rhys, Camilla and Grant; also by several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitations will be held at Passage, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB (506.532.1050), on Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm. There will be no public visitation Monday.
Funeral service will be held at St-Pierre-de-Cocagne RC Church in Cocagne, on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology) or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
