Herman entered into the joy of the Lord on November 18, 2022,
at the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, surrounded by his family and their
love. Faithful helpmate and beloved husband for over 66 years to
Lillian (MacWilliams) MacLean. Born on October 21, 1931, Herman lived
almost all his long and blessed life in Dunblane, PEI.
Much adored father to Natalie Dennis, Leslie, Brett (Tassie
Fyon) and Corey (Wendy) MacLean. Doting grandfather of Joel
(Amanda)and Jordan (Amber) Dennis, Conor and Kyle MacLean, Brandon
(Michelle) Dunning, Ashley, Tyler, Avery, Tanner and Logan MacLean,
and very fond great grandfather of Selah, Steven, Chloe and Lolly ,
and Jennifer, Spencer and Elliott. A model to us all of love,
perseverance, hard work and a quip in time.
Herman was predeceased by his parents, Leslie and Ruby
(Costain) MacLean, as well as by his siblings Raeford MacLean and
Rosamond (Harry) MacAusland, son-in-law, Stephen Dennis, and nephews
Miles Boulter, Stephen MacLean and Dale MacAusland. He is survived by
his sister Esther (Harding) Boulter , sister-in-law Jean (Campbell)
MacLean, brothers-in-law Alton Silliker and Otto Banks, and many
nieces and nephews.

Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with
visiting hours Tuesday 12:00 -1:45pm. Funeral to follow in the chapel
at 2pm Interment to follow in Springfield West Baptist
Cemetery.
