Henry Harold Berger 2022

Henry Harold Berger
September 22, 1930 – September 4, 2022
Peacefully, on Sunday, September 4, 2022, in his ninety-second year. Loved husband of Bertha Barbara Fineberg Berger for seventy-one years. Dedicated father of Lesley Barbara (the late Allan Rusinek). Proud and doting grandpa of Jeremy Rusinek (Jenna Jangalee), Brandon Rusinek (Valerie Gibson), Brittany Berger (Aron Berger). Loving great-grandpa of Juniper and Brody Rusinek. Brother-in-law of Sunnie Manusov, Manny and Brenda Fineberg. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses, Sarah and Philip Needleman, Willie and Dorothy Berger. He was adored by his dedicated and amazing caregiver Ramon Atuilan. Harold will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, family, and all who knew him.
Following a successful sales career, Harold enjoyed his retirement years avoiding the cold winters in Florida, playing golf, and pleasurable card games at poolside. He also gave some well-spent retirement hours to the Montreal General Hospital, his favourite Health Centre. Harold’s favourite charity was sponsoring a perpetual scholarship fund with the Canadian Friends of Hebrew University and, as one of his sayings goes, “no gifts, please”, those wishing to, can instead support either worthwhile cause: Montreal General Hospital Foundation, (514) 934-8230, or Canadian Friends of Hebrew University, (514) 932-2133.
Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, September 7 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Shaare Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva location to be announced. Shiva hours: Wednesday following burial until 4:00 p.m., Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Henry Harold Berger 2022..
