Obituary
It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.
Harold William Edward MacDonald, age 82, formally of Gaultois, passed peacefully away on September 19th, 2022 at the Health Sciences Center in St. Johns.
Left to celebrate his life is his wife Martha of 59 years, Son Garry (Christina), Daughter Pamela (Robert) and Son Neil (Janice). Five grandchildren; Andrew, Tiffany, Taylor, Trista and Tori. Three great-grandchildren; Grayson, Autumn and Hudson. Two siblings; Evelyn and Roy (Grace) as well as a large circle of family and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Emma MacDonald, his parents’ in-law Leonard and Emily Lilly and two brother in-laws: Harold Lilly and Donald Hollett.
Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday, September 20th from 7-9 PM and Wednesday, September 21st from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held at Barrett’s Memorial Chapel on Thursday, September 22nd at 11am. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery Kenmount Road.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
