STARK, Gerald
Walter – (Former employee of the Newmarket Court House,
the Immigration and Refugee Board and Canada Customs).
Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health
Centre, Newmarket, Ontario on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 72 years of
age.
Beloved husband of Marilyn Read-Stark
(formerly of Amherst, NS) and loving father of Alexa Stark. He is
survived by his brother Michael Stark and sister in law Sandra (Read)
Webb. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and
great-nephew. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Olga
Stark.
Gerald loved travelling and was an avid
outdoorsman, enjoying camping, canoeing and fishing.
Gerald loved the time that he and
Marilyn spent in Tidnish and especially loved the view from the
Riverside Cemetery.
Funeral service has taken place on
Friday, October 7th at 11:00am at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral
Home, Newmarket, Ontario.
A public graveside service will take
place on Friday, October 14th at 10:00am at the Riverside Cemetery,
Tidnish with Rev. Charlotte Ross officiating.
Arrangements are under the care and
supervision of the Jones Family Funeral Centre, 70 Church
Street, Amherst, NS (902-667-8777).
Donations in Geralds’s memory
can be made to Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation or St. Paul’s
Anglican Church, Newmarket, Ontario.
