MacInnis – The death
occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, August
19, 2022, of George H. “Sonny” MacInnis, of Summerside, aged
87 years. Born in Borden-Carleton, he was the son of the late Patrick
and Charlotte (King) MacInnis. Survived by his sister Inez (Robert)
McIntyre; nieces and nephews Bruce McIntyre (Julie Woods), Sheryle
(David) Saunders, Dave (Andrea) McIntyre and Tanya McIntyre (Shane
Stephens); and by 11 grand nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2
brothers in infancy, Basil and Arthur. Resting at Moase
Funeral Home, Summerside, until Wednesday, August 31, then to St.
Paul’s Church for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in
St. Peter’s Church Cemetery, Seven Mile Bay. No visiting
hours by person request. Memorial donations to the PCH
Addiction Services would be appreciated.
