Geneiveve Isabelle Wheaton 1935 2022

It is with great sadness we announce the
passing of Geneiveve Isabelle Wheaton,
age 86 of River Hebert. Geneiveve passed away on Monday, October 10,
2022 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre.
Born in Joggins, she was a daughter of
the late Ernest and Florence (Tower) Wheaton.
Geneiveve took joy in making people
smile and laugh. She loved spending time on the beach, going for
drives in the country but above all else, she loved spending time with
her family. She was unique and will be dearly missed by all who knew
her.
Geneiveve is survived by her daughter
Betty; grandson Archie (Trudy) as well as many nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased
by her husband Archie; 2 daughters at birth; daughter Barbara-Anne;
brothers James, Arnold and Wayne, and sisters Hilda, Lavonna and
Dianne.
Arrangements are under the care and
supervision of the Jones Family Funeral
Centre, 70 Church Street, Amherst, NS (902-667-8777). A
graveside service will take place at a later date.
Donations in Geneiveve’s
memory can be made to St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
