Obituary of Gary Edward Keddy
The passing of Gary Edward Keddy of Penniac , NB , husband of Kimberley (Sabourin) Keddy, occurred on August 20, 2022 at Hospice Fredericton. He was born on May 26, 1959 in London , ON and is the son of John Keddy (Harlene) and the late Betty Ann (Briand) Keddy. Gary drove for City Transit for 10 years, then owned and drove long haul truck. He also worked in home renovations and roofing with his son. He loved hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, being at his camp, working in his garage and spending time with family.
Gary is survived by daughters, Ashley Keddy (Justin) and Rileigh MacDonald (Richard); son, Steven Keddy (Pam); sisters, Shelley Keddy (Cory), Sharon Hachey (Ulysse) and Helen Munn (Joseph); chosen daughter, Hailey (Ryan) that he helped raise; grandchildren, Isabelle, Liam, Elijah, Eden, Dennis, Aleigha, Emily, Chase, Kaidence and Cason; great grandchild, Paisley and several nieces and nephews. He will be especially missed by his loving fur babies Daisy and Lexi. Besides his mother, Gary was predeceased by his brother, Timothy Keddy, nephew, Trevor Hachey; niece, Erin Munn; and great nephew, Chad Sacobie.
At Gary ’s request, there will be no public services at this time. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the staff of Hospice House Fredericton for their care and compassion.
