Frederick “Fred” Daigle
1938-2022
KOUCHIBOUGUAC, NB – Fred Daigle 83, of
Kouchibouguac, NB passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris Hospital,
Ste-Anne-de-Kent on Sunday, March 20, 2022. Born in
Kouchibouguac, he was the son of the late Angus Daigle and late Exilda
(Johnson) Daigle. Before retiring, Fred was a lifelong
fisherman.
Fred will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 49 years,
Emma (Gray) Daigle of Kouchibouguac and his fur babies, Pokey, Smokey,
Lucky and Charlie that he loved so much.
He was also survived by three sisters, Bertha Robichaud of
Lorneville, Eva Zelward (Art) of Saint John, Jean Donovan of Saint
John; one brother, Roy Daigle (Julia) of Kouchibouguac; sister-in-law,
Gladys McIntyre of Moncton and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by six sisters,
Della, Louise, Evelyn, Rita, Emma, Alice and six brothers, Leo, Alyre,
Edgar, Raymond, John and Gerald.
Visitation will be held at Thompson Memorial Home in
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Monday, March 28, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9
pm (only). The family would appreciate all visitors to wear
a mask and respect social distancing during the visitation.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 10:30 am at
the St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church in
Saint-Louis-de-Kent. The family would like to say thank you
to the angel nurses and doctors at the Stella Maris Hospital in
Ste-Anne-de-Kent.
