Obituary of Fernando Manuel Da Silva Marques
Marques, Fernando Manuel Da Silva- Taken too soon on Wednesday, August 10th, 2022 at 69 years of age. Leaving behind his wife of 49 years Maria Fernanda Marques. Loving father of Nelson (Alicia) and Melissa (Gino) Zicarelli. Cherished grandfather of Ethen, Jessica, Haeden and Luca. Survived by sister Margarida and extended family in Portugal. Fondly missed by his extended family and friends especially his fur companion Suzita. He was a pillar to his family and loved his family tremendously. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. The family wishes to thank family, close friends and neighbours for their support and compassion during this difficult time. Family and friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre on Sunday, August 14th, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Service of Christian Burial will take place in the chapel on Monday at 2:30 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Fernando in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
