Passed away on December 28, 2022, at Sunnyside Home, in Kitchener, at the age of 99.
Beloved wife of Kristian, who predeceased Esther in 2004.
Cherished mother of Alice Olsen, Bente (Tim) Willis, and Brian (Laurel) Pedersen.
Loving grandmother of Rene Olsen, Tanja Coghill, Ryan Willis, Jodie Merson, Matthew Pedersen, and Cory Pedersen.
Proud great grandmother of Jenna Olsen, Claire Willis, Kason Olsen, Chris Willis, Alex Coghill, Will Coghill, Olivia Merson, and Audrey Merson.
Predeceased by her brother, Helge and by her sisters Grethe and Eva.
Esther will be dearly missed by her friends and her extended family in Denmark.
In keeping with Esther’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the The Danish Lutheran Church of Toronto, to Sunset Mindepark or to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
