HOOD EMILY LILLIAN
The passing of Emily Lillian Hood of Cross Creek , NB , wife of the late Joseph Earl Hood, occurred on October 24, 2022 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on May 26, 1940 in Temperance Vale, NB, she was the daughter of the late Janette (Greer) and Barry McHatten.
Emily was a woman who had great faith and trusted her lord and saviour. She took special joy in her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Emily is survived by daughter, Sheila Carr (Terry); son, Dale Hood (Maureen); sisters Minerva Fullarton and Norma Warren; grandchildren, Donald Hood (Dana), Iris Munn (Philip) and Adam Carr (Ashley); great grandchildren, Caleb, Moriah, Elyanah, Addison, Ashlynn and Astella.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her infant grandson, Adrian Carr; sisters, Greta Morehouse and Myrna Warren; brothers, Eldridge McHatten, Delmont McHatten and Richard McHatten.
Visitation will take place at Nashwaak Valley Pentecostal Church , 2265 Route 148, Taymouth on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Mike Trail officiating. Interment will take place in Nashwaak Valley Pentecostal Church Cemetery , Taymouth.
